  1. About us
    \n<\/strong>
    \n The REN\u00c9 CASSIN FOUNDATION – INSTITUT INTERNATIONAL DES DROITS DE L’HOMME,
    \nFONDATION RECONNUE D’UTILIT\u00c9 PUBLIQUE, with capital of 1984000.00 euros, headquartered at
    \nSTRASBOURG (67000) 2 all\u00e9e Ren\u00e9 Cassin 67000 STRASBOURG, registered under
    \nsiret number 77886484300041. Declaration of activity registered under number 44670634667 with
    \nPr\u00e9fet de la R\u00e9gion Grand Est and Certificate no. 721056 issued by Qualiopi. The Foundation is represented
    \nby Mr Emmanuel DECAUX (hereinafter the “Foundation”). The Foundation offers the following services
    \n: “online and face-to-face training”, “rental of training rooms”, “rental of
    \noffices”, “e-learning courses”. The Foundation is recognized as a public utility by virtue of the decree in
    \nConseil d’Etat n\u00b0INTD1515586D dated December 11, 2015. <\/li>\n
  2. Preamble
    \n<\/strong>
    \n These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “GTCS”) form the sole basis of the
    \ncommercial relationship between the parties.
    \nThey govern the conditions under which the Foundation provides its Services to its
    \nprofessional customers who request them directly or on paper.
    \nThey apply to all Services provided by the Foundation for all customers in the same
    \ncategory, irrespective of any clauses that may appear in a customer document, in particular its
    \ngeneral terms and conditions of purchase.
    \nThey are systematically communicated to any customer who requests them
    \n. All orders imply acceptance of the GCS.<\/li>\n
  3. Definitions
    \n<\/strong>
    \nCustomer means any person who places an order by direct contact or on paper; Order means any order placed by the Customer with a view to benefiting from the Foundation’s services; General Sales Conditions or GSC means the present document; Consumer means the buyer who is a natural person acting outside his professional activity; Professional means the purchaser, whether a legal entity or an individual, acting within the scope of his or her professional activity
    \n;
    \nServices means all services offered by the Foundation; and
    \nFoundation means the Ren\u00e9 Cassin Foundation – International Institute of Human Rights, more
    \namply referred to in Article I of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
  4. OrdersOrders<\/strong>are placed by the customer by direct contact, on our website or by email.<\/li>\n
  5. Services and prices<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>Prices are those in force on the day the Order is placed, as set out on the
    \ninternet site.
    \nThe Foundation may grant the Customer price reductions, discounts and rebates depending on the
    \nnumber of Services ordered or the regularity of Orders, in accordance with the conditions
    \nset by the Foundation.<\/li>\n
  6. Payment terms and conditions<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The price is payable in full on the day the order is placed.
    \nPayment can be made by: credit card, Paypal platform and, with prior agreement from
    \nFondation, by bank transfer. In the latter case, bank charges are entirely at the customer’s expense
    \n. <\/li>\n
  7. Performance of services<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The services ordered will be provided by:
    \nThe Foundation
    \nThe Foundation undertakes to comply as far as possible with the deadlines announced when the Order was placed.
    \nHowever, the Foundation cannot under any circumstances be held liable for delays in the provision of
    \nservices caused by faults for which it is not responsible.
    \nThe Foundation cannot be held liable for delays caused by
    \nforce majeure, i.e. the occurrence of an unforeseeable, irresistible event
    \nbeyond the Foundation’s control.<\/li>\n
  8. Complaints<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>For all orders placed, the Customer has the right to make a complaint within 30 days from
    \nof the end of the training course to the provision of the Service.
    \nTo exercise this right of complaint, the Customer must send the Foundation, at the address
    \nadministration@iidh.org, a statement in which he\/she expresses his\/her reservations and complaints,
    \ntogether with the relevant supporting documents.
    \nA complaint that does not comply with the conditions described above cannot be accepted.<\/li>\n
  9. Right of withdrawal and cancellation conditions for
    \nConsumersConsumers<\/strong>have a right of withdrawal within 15 working days of placing their order, except
    \nfor products mentioned in article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
    \nTo exercise this right of withdrawal, the Consumer should send a declaration to
    \n: administration@iidh.org.
    \n. The Consumer will be reimbursed for all fees paid for the provision of services within 14 days of the Foundation’s acknowledgement of the declaration of withdrawal by
    \n. Reimbursement will be made by
    \nthe same means of payment as that used for purchase.
    \nHowever, if the service has already begun on the date the Foundation becomes aware of
    \nretraction, the value corresponding to the service already provided will be
    \ndeducted from the reimbursement. The latter will be made by the same means of payment as for the purchase.
    \nThe conditions for cancellation of each training course at the customer’s initiative are specified for each
    \naction directly on the Foundation’s website. <\/li>\n
  10. Legal warranties<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>Services supplied to Consumers are guaranteed in accordance with the legal provisions of the
    \nConsumer Code and the Civil Code.<\/li>\n
  11. Personal data processing<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The Customer’s purchase may entail the processing of his\/her personal data. If the Customer
    \nrefuses the processing of his\/her data, he\/she is asked to refrain from using the services of the
    \nFoundation. This processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation
    \n2016\/679 of April 27, 2016. In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of April 27, 2016 “on the protection of
    \nnatural persons with regard to the processing of personal data”, the Customer consents
    \nto the processing (collection, recording, storage, consultation, use, communication) of
    \nhis personal data by the Ren\u00e9 Cassin Foundation in order to enable, in particular, the
    \nmanagement of the service ordered and access to activities. The Customer’s data will be kept
    \nfor as long as is necessary for the purpose of processing, before being archived
    \nin accordance with the legal time limits applicable to contract management and invoicing.
    \nThe customer acknowledges that, in accordance with the provisions of articles 15, 16, 17, 18 and
    \n21 of the aforementioned regulation, he or she has the right to access data concerning him or her, the right to rectify it, the
    \nright to object to it, the right to limit the processing of his or her data, and the right to
    \nthe deletion of his or her data. To exercise these rights, or in case of difficulty, please contact
    \nFondation Ren\u00e9 Cassin, by e-mail (administration@iidh.org). <\/p>\n

    Lastly, and in accordance with Article 7 of the aforementioned Regulation, the service provider is informed of the possibility of
    \nwithdrawing this consent at any time, after informing the Ren\u00e9 Cassin Foundation, by e-mail to
    \nthe aforementioned address. In addition, in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, the Customer has the right, at any
    \ntime, to query, access, rectify, modify and oppose
    \nall of his\/her personal data by writing, by post and providing proof of identity, to
    \nat the following address: administration@iidh.org. This personal data is required to process orders and to improve
    \nthe services offered by the Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  12. Sharing collected data<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The Foundation may use third-party companies to carry out certain operations. The customer accepts that third-party companies may have access to his\/her data to enable
    \nthe completion of his\/her order. These third-party companies only have access to the data collected in order to carry out a specific task
    \n. The Foundation remains responsible for the processing of this data. In addition, the Customer may receive information or commercial offers from
    \nthe Foundation or its partners. The Customer may at any time refuse to receive such commercial offers by writing to
    \nat the Foundation’s address given above. In addition, Customer information may be passed on to third parties without the Customer’s express prior consent for the following purposes:
    \nto comply with the law
    \nto protect any person against serious bodily harm or even
    \ndeath to combat fraud or attacks on the Foundation or its
    \nusers to protect the Foundation’s property rights.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
  13. Data protection<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The Foundation ensures an appropriate level of security proportionate to the risks incurred and to
    \ntheir probability, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016\/679 of 27
    \nApril 2016.
    \nHowever, these measures in no way constitute a guarantee and do not commit the Foundation to a
    \nobligationof result regarding data security.<\/li>\n
  14. Cookies<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>To enable its Users to enjoy optimal browsing on the Site and better
    \noperation of the various interfaces and applications, the Foundation may install a
    \ncookie on the User’s computer. This cookie is used to store information relating to
    \nbrowsing on the Site, as well as any data entered by Users (in particular
    \nsearches, login, email, password).
    \nThe User expressly authorizes the Foundation to place a “cookie” file (
    \n) on the User’s hard disk.
    \nThe User may block, modify the retention period, or delete this
    \ncookie via the interface of his\/her browser. If the systematic deactivation of cookies on the User’s
    \nbrowser prevents him\/her from using certain services or functionalities of the Site, this malfunction
    \nshall in no way constitute damage for the member, who shall not be entitled to claim any
    \nindemnity as a result. <\/li>\n
  15. Changes<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The information contained in the Foundation’s catalogs, prospectuses and price lists is given for information only
    \nand may be revised at any time.
    \nThe Foundation is entitled to make any changes it deems necessary.
    \nWhen placing an Order, the Customer is subject to the stipulations set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in force
    \nat the time the Order is placed.<\/li>\n
  16. Intellectual property<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The brand, logo and graphic charter are registered trademarks owned
    \nexclusively by the Foundation. Any dissemination, exploitation, representation or reproduction, whether
    \npartial or complete, without the express authorization of the said Foundation will expose the offender to
    \ncivil and criminal proceedings. <\/li>\n
  17. The<\/strong>law governing the GTCS is French law. Any dispute that may arise between the Foundation and a
    \nCustomer during the execution of the GTCS will be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution. Failing this,
    \ndisputes will be referred to the competent common law courts. <\/li>\n
  18. Customer acceptance<\/strong>
    \n
    \n<\/strong>The Customer expressly accepts the GTC. He declares that he is familiar with them and waives the right to invoke
