Behind each case lies the fundamental question of the responsibility of States, companies and citizens in the face of climate change. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"1108\">The <strong data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"712\">&#8220;Strategic Litigation and Climate Justice&#8221;<\/strong> seminar aims to explore these dynamics from a comparative perspective, comparing legal and institutional approaches in the <strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"884\">African, European and Inter-American<\/strong> systems. These three spaces, with their distinct constitutional, regional and cultural traditions, offer complementary perspectives on how to integrate climate protection at the heart of fundamental rights. <\/p>\n<h3>Subject, Date and Time:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Monday, December 15, 2025, the Ren\u00e9 Cassin Foundation is organizing a seminar on its premises, offering a cross-view of the European and Inter-American human rights systems in terms of the protection of fundamental social and economic rights. This seminar will be led by Professor Laurence Burgorgue-Larsen and Professor Luis Jimena Quesada from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and will be offered in a hybrid format: on the premises of the Ren\u00e9 Cassin Foundation in Strasbourg (subject to availability) and by videoconference. <\/p>\n<p>Ms Laurence Burgorgue-Larsen is Professor of Law at the University of Paris Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne, member of the Sorbonne&#8217;s Research Institute of International and European Law and member of the International Commission of Jurists.
