
Continuing vocational training – Referral to the European Court of Human Rights
The Fondation René Cassin – Institut international des droits de l’homme is offering a training course designed to provide lawyers and other interested members of the public with very practical knowledge and advice to help them better understand and improve their chances of success in appeals before the European Court of Human Rights.
The course will be given by Anna Glazewski, lecturer at the University of Strasbourg’s Faculty of Law, and Mathilde Franssen, lawyer at the Bar of Liège, both of whom have worked as jurists at the European Court of Human Rights. It will be structured around the questions and expectations of participants, in an interactive format.

WHEN AND HOW?
The proposed training will take place by videoconference only, on December 8, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
It can be followed live on the TEAMS platform, or as a replay (with courses made available within a maximum of 48 hours).
An online assessment of prior learning, in the form of a multiple-choice questionnaire, will be offered on December 10, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:30 am. It is compulsory for people registered via their skills operator (OPCO).
A certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants.
