
Announcement of Upcoming Online Training Programs in 2025
The René Cassin Foundation – International Institute of Human Rights is pleased to announce the opening of registrations for three of its flagship training programs in 2025, designed to strengthen skills and foster reflection on contemporary legal challenges in the fields of international law, humanitarian protection, and migration.
1. Advanced Course in International Criminal Law – International Criminal Justice in the Face of Global Crises
📍 online – Strasbourg – 8 to 12 December 2025 (french only)
This session will explore the role of international criminal justice mechanisms in addressing contemporary crises (accountability of actors, institutional challenges, and the future of international criminal justice).

2. Professional Training – The New Reforms in Asylum and Migration Law
📍Strasbourg or Online (hybrid format) – 24 November 2025, 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
This training will present the upcoming European reforms in asylum and migration law entering into force in 2026, their direct impact on French law, as well as the practical aspects of asylum litigation and the support provided to asylum seekers.

3. Advanced Course in International Humanitarian Law (in English only)
📍 Online – 24 to 28 November 2025
Organized with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), this course will address the protection of civilians in armed conflicts, the challenges posed by emerging technologies (cyber operations, AI, autonomous systems), and the modalities of humanitarian assistance in situations of war.
